Sustainability is our business strategy

Sustainability has long been at the core of our strategy. We've made historic commitments to solve some of the world's biggest challenges. We are leading our industry in the development of innovative and sustainable solutions that uplift our planet and benefit all people who call it home.

We continue to set the pace for what’s possible in our industry and for the world, decarbonizing homes, buildings and the cold chain with clean, energy-efficient solutions.

Our Sustainability Commitments

We know that climate change is real and urgent action is needed to create a more sustainable and equitable world. To secure a sustainable future and rise to the ambitions of our purpose, every part of our business takes part in our commitments.

To ensure our strategy will have the positive impact that is necessary, we've aligned our commitments with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are among the first in our industry, and the world, to undertake the scientific rigor of having our 2030 and net-zero by 2050 emissions reduction goals validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
